The product is applied through the focus tube directly on the freckle. The product damages the blemish cells. Hair follicles and sweat glands are not harmed.

A scab will form where the freckle was. During the healing phase the damaged cells are replaced with new cells which migrate upward. Picking the scab off will lengthen the healing time.
Here the new cells have completely replaced the cells which contained the freckle. Healing time varies with different skin types. Usually 7-10 days.
The product is applied through the Focus Tube. This concentrates the product directly onto the blemish. The Focus Tube also protects the surrounding tissue.
